ASIAN AMERICAN

Dr. Christie Chan was born and raised in Long Island, NY. She graduated from Boston University witha B.S. in human physiology and a B.A. in psychology and went on to obtain her doctorate at the SUNY State College of Optometry. After graduating, she completed an ocular disease/primary care optometry residency at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. She currently practices in Pasadena and Baldwin Park, and she is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Chan joined the AAOS in 2012 and is currently the Treasurer. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, scrapbooking, walking her three dogs and going to Disneyland with her husband, Dr. John Lee.
